Protein shake with a fruit kick
Do you prefer fruity smoothies or protein-rich whey shakes? Or both? Then go for the Whey Smoothie. This refreshing shake gives you the best of both worlds! Fruity smoothie taste and a large portion of protein.
Why is protein important?
The protein, for example in protein smoothies, contributes to muscle building and the maintenance of muscle mass. Whey protein shakes are therefore ideal as a post-workout shake after training. As a tasty and quick snack before training, the creamy shake also provides you with enough energy to give your best until the end.
Use as a protein smoothie
For a portion of protein smoothie, first pour 300 ml of cold water into a shaker and then add 40 g of protein powder (= 4 level measuring spoons), then shake well. Drink 1 portion of the protein smoothie daily after training.
Tip: For even more flavor with additional protein, you can also prepare the recipe with 300 ml of milk instead of water. A dash of yoghurt as a bonus ingredient makes your protein result even creamier.
Extra portion of freshness
Are you more of a connoisseur? Then blend your protein smoothie with fresh fruit, such as frozen banana or berries. This will not only make your protein shake more fruity, but also creamier and nothing will stand in the way of your cozy, fruity fresh summer day.
Extra portion of greens
In no time at all, you can also conjure up a healthy green smoothie with your protein smoothie with some spinach leaves and frozen peas. Be creative with your choice of ingredients and create your own individual protein recipe.
